Chancel Choir For adults and youth.
The choir rehearses Wednesday night in the choir room at the new site from 6:00pm “ 7:30pm. The Chancel Choir leads worship in both the 8:00 and 10:30 Sunday services, usually providing a special anthem. The choir takes a "Summer Break in July. In December, the Chancel Choir and Orchestra present a Christmas Cantata on the second Sunday of the month during the 10:30 service.
Music and Mission Opportunities: Spreading God's Love Through Music
The Epworth Mission Singers (consisting of our Chancel Choir, Young Adults, Youth and Members of our congregation) participate in various Music and Mission opportunities throughout the community, United States and abroad. The Epworth Mission Singers have presented concerts and participated in "hand's on mission opportunities in Austria (Salzburg and Vienna), Czech Republic (Prague), England (London, Bristol, Epworth) and an upcoming trip to Italy and Greece in July of 2017.

Bell Choir (3 octave)

For adults & youth Currently the Bell Choir rehearses Wednesday night from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the new site. They offer special music periodically throughout the year for worship and other occasions, including Christmas and Easter.
Children's Choir and Bell Choir for Ages 4 ” 5th graders
Assistant Directors: Teresa Locke, Nona Inglis, Ruth Roten
Children's Choir begins in August. We meet Sunday mornings during the 10:30 am worship service. Following the children's message, the choir members go to Children's Church where they rehearse bells, songs and participate in a devotional time centered around the theme of the songs they are learning. The children will be returned to their parents during the Irish blessing. Children's Choir prepare songs for worship, Advent/Christmas and Easter seasons. Extra rehearsal time will be scheduled if needed in preparation for special programs. A parent volunteers is needed to assist each week.
Youth Wind Ensemble/Orchestra
Director: Bea Ball
Rehearses Wednesday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the new site in the sanctuary. This ensemble prepares music for worship, Advent/Christmas, Easter and special services throughout the year. Twice a year, they attend symphony concerts in Nashville as a Music Education opportunity.

Epworth UMC is blessed to have many talented church members who share their musical gifts in worship and special services. If you play an instrument or would like to share your voice in worship and/or our orchestra ensembles, please contact Laurie Evans, Music Director.
